About Great Hope Metalworks

My name is Lynn Kutzleb.  As a native of Colorado I love the outdoors.  Much of my inspiration for my designs came from the beauty of Colorado.  Silversmithing came into my life as a hobby around 2001.

I was born in Leadville, Colorado.  My family goes back four generations, and while looking for a name for my company, I decided to look back at my family history.  My great grandfather owned several gold and silver mines in Leadville, one of those mines being  “Great Hope.”

All of my jewelry is hand constructed from sheets of sterling silver, copper, brass, various stones, and splashes of gold.

This is Tiger, he is a mini Australian Shepard. He is the Great Hope Metalworks mascot, model, and designated kisses dispenser. If you’re ever having a bad day, this is the guy to call. His name is deceiving, because he is the sweetest boy on the planet.

My daughter, Jess, is the tech wizard behind the Great Hope Metalworks website. She is also my marketing director and favorite adventure buddy.
